Rejuran is a TGA approved injectable product from Korea called a Polynucleotide (PN). It is currently the only approved PN available in Australia.
What’s a PN you ask? Let me tell you. PN’s derive their potency from the fundamental components of DNA. Rejuran treatments stimulate collagen and elastin, the proteins responsible for maintaining firmness and elasticity. The DNA fragments attach onto the fibroblasts in the skin which in turn makes your existing fibroblasts work harder to stimulate collagen and elastin, increasing the number of fibroblasts. In short – more fibroblasts = more collagen and elastin.
As we age the reduction of these proteins leads to the onset of wrinkles and skin laxity. This is why PN’s can be used in a person of 30 years and above to help prevent and support the skin.
Polynucleotides also enhance blood circulation which will facilitate the transportation of oxygen and nutrients to your skin cells. Healthy cells create a luminosity as light reflects off the healthy cells. They are particularly helpful for skins that are struggling with redness and skin irritation due to their anti inflammatory properties. Those of you with Rosacea or sensitive skins will find this treatment beneficial.
This versatile treatment can be used across areas including, the face, neck, and décolletage. Addressing concerns such as scars, stretchmarks, the delicate under eye area and pigmented dark circles.
Rejuran sources it’s PN’s from wild Salmon from the Pacific Ocean. Using DOT technology there are no immunogenic proteins’ so you can have a treatment if you have a seafood allergy. This is not a suitable treatment for Vegans.
